Ignite

This session will be held on Sunday, November 9th from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Empower4Life office (12037 BelAir Road, Suite B, Kingsville, MD 21087). The target age group for this session is 5-9 years old. During this session, we will be reading the book "Gratitude is My Superpower" and making "gratitude stones" in preparation for our Thanksgiving Meal Mission. Please include your child’s NAME and AGE in the “Comment” section.

This session will be held on Friday, December 5th from 6:30-8:00pm at the Empower4Life office (12037 BelAir Road, Suite B, Kingsville, MD 21087). Ages 8-12 are welcome to attend. We invite older teens to consider our Holiday Drive receiving/organizing and wrapping opportunities. During this session, we will be discussing the spirit of giving. Our projects will include decorating stockings and making holiday cards for children living in homeless shelters this holiday season. Participants are welcome to wear holiday pajamas! Holiday cookies will be served as a special treat! Please include your child’s NAME and AGE in the “Comment” section.

This session will be held on Wednesday, January 7th from 6:00-7:00pm at the Empower4Life office (12037 BelAir Road, Suite B, Kingsville, MD 21087). The target age group for this session is 5-9 years old. During this session, we will be reading the "The Kindness Book" and pack prize packs for our shelter sessions. Please include your child’s NAME and AGE in the “Comment” section.

This session will be held on Monday, January 20th from 11:00am -1:00pm at the Empower4Life office (12037 BelAir Road, Suite B, Kingsville, MD 21087). The session is for middle school age children (Grades 6-8). During this session, we will be discussing the impact poverty and homelessness on children and completing a service project to benefit children in our community. We will also be creating "Changemaker Vision Boards" to help inspire us to consider how to use our skills and talents to help others. Pizza lunch will be provided. Service hours are available for participants that need them. Please include your child’s NAME and AGE in the “Comment” section.

This session will be held on Sunday, February 1st from 10:30-11:30am at the Empower4Life office (12037 BelAir Road, Suite B, Kingsville, MD 21087). Children ages 7-11 are welcome to attend. During this session, we will be discussing love and kindness and making fun Valentines for children living in our partner shelters. Please include your child’s NAME and AGE in the “Comment” section.
